Solta Medical to acquire Aesthera

February 23rd 2010: Solta Medical has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aesthera Corporation, a leading provider of aesthetic devices to the acne market, based on the unique Isolaz™ and Isolaz Pro™ products.

Through its Thermage and Fraxel product lines, Solta Medical delivers innovative products backed by solid science, that enable safe and efficacious treatments that patients are asking for. The addition of the innovative Isolaz technology provides a foundation for the continuous development of new products that will provide an excellent return on investment for our physician partners and a high level of patient satisfaction.

The Isolaz products will become part of the Solta Medical family of brands and will be supported from Solta Medical’s company headquarters based in Hayward, California.
