Thermage—radiofrequency technology for skin tightening
The Thermage system is the only device in the industry to use monopolar capacitive radiofrequency (RF) energy to tighten and contour skin. The technology safely delivers uniform, volumetric heating to deep, collagen-rich layers of the skin. This heating stimulates the body's natural skin renewal process, which helps tighten existing collagen and form new collagen. Over time, the collagen remodeling helps create smoother, tighter skin; improved tone and texture; and an overall younger-looking appearance.
Unlike other treatments, the Thermage procedure delivers the full benefits in a single procedure. And at the same time that Thermage heats the deep layers of skin, it also cools the epidermis to protect it during the procedure. As a result, the skin requires no recovery time, so patients can quickly resume normal activities.
Thanks to this advanced technology, Thermage is the only non-invasive procedure that helps tighten and contour skin in a single treatment with little or no downtime.
Fraxel—laser technology for skin resurfacing and rejuvenation
As the original fractional laser system, Fraxel treatment affects a fraction of skin at a time with thousands of microscopic laser columns—each just one-tenth the diameter of a hair follicle. These laser columns penetrate the surface of the skin to create tiny wounds deep in the skin, which trigger the body's natural healing process to remodel collagen and replace damaged tissue with younger, smoother, healthier skin. Meanwhile, since the laser columns treat only a fraction of tissue at a time, they leave the surrounding tissue intact. As a result, the skin heals much faster than if the entire area were treated at once.
With this fractional technology, Fraxel treatment improves the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, discoloration, and other signs of aging and sun-damaged skin. The technology delivers the optimal balance of dramatic results and little to no patient downtime—a combination that didn't exist before Fraxel treatment.
